What it is — and what it isn’t
USAR documents confirm your dog’s registered status in our registry and reference the federal frameworks that apply to psychiatric service dogs (ADA, FHA, ACAA). They are not medical documentation, a diagnosis, or a prescription, and no registry — ours included — is required by law. The DOT form is the airline’s requirement, not ours: you complete and attest to it, and each airline sets its own submission deadline. Under the ADA, a psychiatric service dog must be individually trained to do work or perform tasks directly related to a person’s disability.
