What this collar is and isn’t
An ESA collar is an identification accessory, not a legal credential. Emotional support animals do not have ADA public-access rights — those belong to trained service dogs. ESA protections live in two narrower federal lanes: the Fair Housing Act (with a letter from a licensed clinician) and, post-2021, a small set of airline policies that still permit ESAs in cabin. This collar makes those conversations easier; it isn’t itself a legal status.
